The power line tie-in relocation project is scheduled to wrap up this Friday, October 26. Late that afternoon, water will begin being released from the powerplant instead of the spillway gates and/or the evacuation outlets. This should not affect releases, and should not significantly affect water temperatures nor gas super-saturation.A few days ago, PSAT monitoring by Reclamation indicated a spike that was up from the normal range of 108 – 110. Levels up to 117 were recorded for brief periods for a few days. This may result in some fish exhibiting signs of gas bubble trauma, and we’d appreciate it anyreports if you see signs of GBT so we can pass it on to the biologists.Enjoy the fall weather, and remember who our friends are when you go to the polls a week from Tuesday.
